Illustrations created with Adobe Illustrator, traditional media and Photoshop.
This mock festival poster was created to showcase the font I designed (whole alphabet with numbers and symbols!), plus some fun graphics, and don’t miss the fake band names I created to demonstrate my love of wordplay. Wouldn’t this be a fun event to go to?
The swirl effects came from a trick I learned in an Illustrator tutorial on YouTube. In addition to the education I achieved in earning my design certificate, I have continued to expand my knowledge of all the many features of Photoshop and Illustrator! So much fun! The pool of water has a subtle gradient mesh, as do all the “tongues” in the rest of the poster.

The Event Poster inspired the Funky Frog Family… we may have more frogs to come in the future!
The “Funky Frog Family” including Cool Blues Frog, Chef Frog, and Fiesta Frog were created in Illustrator as vector graphics with gradient mesh. They have been sold as stickers when I sell art at live shows. You might see one on someone’s car!

And more illustrations…
The plants with watering can were also created in Illustrator as vector graphics.
The flowers sprouting from the book were created in traditional media and edited in Photoshop. This image is for sale on my RedBubble as pillow covers. Fun fact: I took Latin from 7th grade until my sophomore year in college, but no, I do not think of Rome every day, like the TikTok husbands!
The fairy image was a drawing colored in Photoshop. This selection of images demonstrates my abilities to use different Adobe suite programs to achieve various goals and results.

My daughters constantly asked me to draw fairies for them when they were little. Not a coincidence that they usually looked a lot like mom! One day I would like to create a children’s book about our adventures hiking to waterfalls and the “fairy clues” my 3 daughters discovered on our adventures!
